An electrical installation condition report, also known as an EICR, is a document produced after an evaluation of the electrical installation contained within a building. This evaluation may include the assessment of plug sockets, light fittings, the fuse box, and other electrical components. At least every five years, HMOs are required by law to have an electrical installation condition report (EICR), often known as a landlord electrical safety test.
